This is an interesting little gem coming from a fairly new brewery and is currently their only offering. They have been marketing themselves as a "sustainable" brewing facility, and I tossed a note their way to try to get a bit more information on what they mean by that, but I have yet to hear back from them.
As you can see from the included photo, the beer is well carbonated and holds a lovely head for a few minutes. It has a rich golden amber hue to it and good clarity. The malty flavour is fuller than I had expected to begin with and carries a grainy barley malt flavor with a mild (cascade?) hop that invites you to roll it around in your mouth. The lattice it leaves is characteristic of fuller beers as well and leave the drinker quite satisfied that the drinking could be sustainable too!
All in all this one is a bit better than I had expected and lives up to the local micros reputations nicely. I recommend this to folks who like to have one or two after work, or maybe a couple on a Sunday afternoon with a game.
TBone couldn't be around to taste this one unfortunately, but on behalf of both the Beer Guys, I'm granting this brew a 3.5/5 pint rating. Not bad for the first beer off the block in a new brewery! Keep up the good work guys!
